Haas Brushes

So lately there seems to be a lot of chitter chatter around Haas brushes. Now, if you know me, you know I love anything grooming. I first heard of these brushes while listening to the Amateur Hour Podcast. They're awesome! Go check them out. {Spotify} {Itunes} and since then I've seen Haas brushes popping up all over the Gram. I did a little more research on them and finally pulled the trigger on it.

I decided on three different brushes. The first one is called the Haas Diva Exclusive Soft Brush. I knew I had to get one for my own diva! It's super soft and has Mattes sheepskin in the center. Even with the amazing reviews, I was still skeptical. Hopeful, but skeptical. I didn't really know how much of a difference a good finishing brush could make. It exceeded my expectations. This brush really brings out a nice shine on him.

My second brush was the Haas Schimmel Stiff Brush. Schimmel translates as white horse. (Perfect right?!?) The Schimmel brush is perfect for that dirt that you're horse has engrained in their skin. Coco loves to rub sand on his butt when he rolls and even with a bath, I could never get it all out, but somehow this brush does the trick. The brush has super stiff bristles. Originally I was worried it'd be too hard for his skin, but he didn't seem to mind one bit. Right now, this is the main brush I use for him. With the curry, it cleans him right up!

The last brush I ordered was the Haas Der Gute Curry Comb. My last curry had just broken, so I just continued the Haas trend on my order. The curry is a basic old school curry, but it gets the job done right! I used to use a rubber curry that was softer, but it didn't clean the dirt off as well. I like to use this brush and the Schimmel together to get that deeper clean.

I bought my Haas brushes from Smartpak, but I know Riding Warehouse also carries some. This definitely isn't my last time buying these brushes. Hopefully, I can get some more of these and retire some of my other ones. As I'm writing this article, I'm having a hard time stopping myself from buying more!!
